To provide leadership to the entire church’s educational program. This involves assisting church program leaders in planning, conducting, evaluating and implementing a comprehensive ministry of Christian education in support of the vision of the church.

Support Ministries

  • New Member’s Orientation & Training
We consider it our responsibility to take the initiative in assimilating new people into the congregation. In the orientation sessions you will learn the enjoyment and expectations of church membership. Some themes which are covered are: Salvation, Spiritual Growth, Service, Stewardship, Sharing Our Faith and Gift Discovery.

  • Bible Institute (Church School)-one of the primary teaching arms of the church. Christ’s command is for believers to ‘make disciples’. In order to make a disciple, one must him or herself be a disciple. Meeting each Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. and Thursdays at 7:14 p.m., inspirational lessons are taught. Every member is expected to be in regular attendance to at least one teaching ministry of the church. Additional learning opportunities for the hungry believer are also periodically provided. Those desiring a deeper study of God’s Word in an environment of personal interaction are encouraged to participate in any of these classes. Stay tuned for more titles and topics to come.
  • Teacher’s Training-lesson discussions cover the church’s weekly Bible lesson to be taught by all ministries. Provides an opportunity for teachers and potential teachers to develop necessary skills in order to lead others into deeper discipleship. Other members, with just a desire to grow, are also encouraged to participate in these classes.
  • Bible Studies-quality teaching and in-depth studies of the scriptures are presented by the pastor each week. Thorough exposition of Bible passages are clearly communicated. Book series and topical studies that relate to real life are beneficial to all who attend. Every member should make it a regular practice to be in Bible Study. It matures and develops us spiritually, as well as gives us greater insight into the directions God is leading our pastor.
  • “Kerusso” (Minister’s Training)-instruction and interaction are provided to the church’s ministers covering a variety of topics such as: the preacher’s prayer-life, ethics, study habits, professionalism, tools, expository preaching and skills improvement. These are done to improve the quality of minister’s who are here to serve our church.
  • Tutoring Program-offers church and community a wonderful service in enhancing skills and eliminating deficiencies. Working closely with neighboring schools and organizations, volunteers assist with Reading, Math and Writing skills. Special attention is given to increase TAKS scores.
