Heritage - Children's Ministry

Functions
Leads and facilitates the planning, organizing, initiating, motivating and instructing of the entire Youth and Children’s Ministry. This involves setting goals and objectives which are Bible-centered and applicable to the everyday needs of our young people. To function as liaison person from the pastor to the Children Ministry and from the Children Ministry to the pastor. To be available for individual, group and family counseling sessions for both children and workers. To serve as role model and be instrumental in problem-solving.

Our Youth Ministry is a very vital and critical part of our church and its mission. While it was once considered adequate for a church to look upon its youth as the “church of tomorrow,” that view is no longer sufficient. Today’s Generation X & Generation-NeXt have forced Christians and churches everywhere to rethink their presentation of the gospel.
Here, at HOFCC, we wish to make the ‘Good News’ of Jesus Christ relevant to our teens and adolescents. Our ministry is made up of various activities designed to introduce and involve our youth with the Jesus of the Bible.
