Pastor’s Information

Dr. Kenneth G. Campbell is senior pastor and founder of the Household of Faith Community Church of Houston (est. January 2002), an exciting, urban congregation “striving to make authentic Christian living practical by radically exalting Christ and clearly explaining the scriptures to the ‘de-churched’ of Northeast Houston and abroad.” He attended Prairie View A & M University and holds a Doctorate of Ministry Degree from the Houston Graduate School of Theology.

Pastor Campbell has preached and taught at seminars, workshops and conferences throughout the nation. He has participated in several mission projects, locally and globally (Haiti, Brazil, Panama, etc.). He has studied in Oxford and ministered in London (UK) and Israel. He was a frequent attendee at Beeson’s Pastor’s School, and has published sermons in several compilations. Pastor Campbell also teaches in an area Bible College, and serves as Dean of the English-speaking Department of a local seminary.
As a kingdom-minded social entrepreneur, Pastor Campbell founded and provides leadership to Ombudsmen, Inc.—an agency that seeks to ‘empower’ inner-city areas of Houston through spiritual and economic ventures. He founded and served as CEO of T.H.R.E.E., Inc. and Treasurer for the Third Ward Fellowship of Churches. He is also former Vice-Moderator of Ministry of the Lincoln District Baptist Mission Association of Texas, former President of its Minister’s Conference, and Vice President of the Youth Department of the Houston Metropolitan Baptist Minister’s Alliance. As a member of the 5th Ward Coalition of Churches, he recently served on its Educational Task Force, and published recommendations to close the education gap in the Houston Independent School District.
He and his wife Trina have three children (Tanisha, Tamira, & Ken Jr.) and five grandchildren (Tristan, Terrance, Tania, Kaden and Tianna).
